Unfortunately, this level of grouping may not go deep enough to show which customers are truly similar and have similar buying habits. epaCUBE software helps you determine the exact right data to use in your segmentation to help you go deeper into your sales history and find similar customer groups.
epaCUBE Sales Opportunities then provides you with a graphical dashboard that highlights your hidden opportunities by customer and product. The products highlighted in yellow represent the products this type of customer should be buying based on the behavior of their customer group.

From this analysis, you can target lists of products by customer to review for planning with sales, marketing, product and executive management. The first column shows the customers, the second column shows the products they are not buying, and the third column shows the percentage of similar customers who are already buying that product from you.
You have many options to refine this data, including creating lists by sales person, customer or customer segment or narrowing the list of target products by customer by adjusting the percentage of similar customers currently buying that product.
For example, you might want to look at customers who are not buying a product in cases where at least fifty percent other similar customers ARE buying this product.
You may want to limit your focus to products in similar product groups and segments in which the customer has previously purchased products. This helps qualify the customer for your sales team since the customer is already buying other related products in that same product group.
Since the Sales Opportunities module is an add-on to epaCUBE Price Optimizer, you can also examine optimized pricing guidance at floor, target and ceiling ranges. This gives your team pricing recommendations even for products your customer has yet to buy from you based on the behavior of similar customers.
